A Fresh Beginning

As 2026 gets underway, so does my new online presence. Gone is my website of many years that featured my photography work over 30+ years. I retired from commercial photography over a year ago. Going forward, I will use my johngevers.com presence to share things that inspire me or, on occasion, ruminations about things that confuse me. Mostly, I'll keep it upbeat and bring back some favorite images and their stories from over the years, as well as new ones as I continue to go through life always with the eye of a photographer. I do intend to keep up landscape and nature photography as an avocation.

This will be my primary online location going forward since I'm doubling down on my commitment to end much social media presence. If you use those platforms, more power to you; I have found them more discouraging than encouraging for myself, so bye-bye. If you care to subscribe to this and be notified when I post something new, please feel free. I don't foresee being a frequent poster.
